Are You Winning at Adulting?

In case you haven’t heard but working, playing, and socializing remotely is the “new normal.” However, what you may not have heard is that your professional relationships are one of the MOST important relationships of your life right now. I know it’s not easy for everyone to adapt to the “do everything from my living room all day” mindset, but in the same vein, what’s important is the quality of what you’re doing in your living room, or bedroom, or kitchen. The people I’ve worked with and spoken to tell me that they tend to feel awkward reaching out to strangers and building authentic networks online. They think it’s pointless and looks desperate. I want to challenge you to think about it differently. Your relationships are the assets to your present and future prosperous life!

As someone who coaches and counsels people on being present to the now, I have a special interest in working with people to create and enhance 3 important character traits: 1. Integrity, 2. Tenacity and 3. Mutually beneficial relationships; important areas of development I’ve seen very often within the work I do with millennials, but I’ve also seen it in non-millennial populations, too.
