Want to Know How to Transform Your Money Mindset?

Hey there Village! I hope you’re faring well during another season where summer ends and fall soon begins. It’s been quite a summer hasn’t it?

Asha Tarry, Life Coach

My team and I took some time away from blogging and posting so we could focus on our health and well-being. But, now we’re back with a few cool tools, made with love, just for your lifestyle transformation journey. But, before I get into that I want to share with you a few updates. The first update is this month we’re moving from a weekly blog model to a bi-weekly model for releasing the blog. Look, we completely understand what it’s like in these days and times to mentally keep up with all the things that are going on inside and outside of our inboxes. So, we thought it was best to drop a newsletter into your box twice a month versus every week, because frankly, I could use the break, too!

The other update is the one I’m most excited to share with you and that is that the next 5 blogs will be all about helping you mindfully profess and proclaim the areas of your life that you want to enhance, grow, rescind, or reassign. How about that, huh?!

I hope you will enjoy this new series which is all about EGRR- enhance, grow, rescind, or reassign. For the next few months, I will share a worksheet in the blog that you can download and use for your personal or professional growth.

I hear so many times a week how much a mentor or coach could really help folks reach their goals and dreams sooner, so this is my way of saying, “thank you” for sticking with me through the growth, the changes, and time away as we move into a season of loving life more fully! Are you ready?

Click your 1st worksheet here. This one is all about your fiscal development and my hope is that it gets some sensations and perceptions percolating about what you’ve been doing with your moolah. And be sure to let me know what you thought about your new EGRR tools once you start using them! 😊.

*BONUS– Just because you all are so amazing to me, I have a bonus I’d like to key you into. A few months ago I had the pleasure of interviewing financial wealth coach, therapist, and transformer, @jacent who discussed with me a strategy she used to pay off $94k in credit card debt in 3 years. She also shares the skills and expertise on her social media that she uses with clients to also drastically transform their mindset and financial fitness plans. Check out our interview @blackpeopleheal on YouTube here: Episode 3 “Financial Wealth is Mental Health with Jacent Wamala“.

As always, Village, tell a friend to tell 5 friends to join us over here at the blog. We’ve got a lot to offer!

Until next time Village,

Asha…

Beauty & the Beats

Do you think it’s possible to find unremarkable things in the same place you find something beautiful and wonder how both coexist without destroying one another? Let me tell you how I came to notice a few things recently on a walk I took in a colorful community in the north section of Brooklyn, New York, called Bushwick.

Asha Tarry, Life Coach

In case you haven’t heard, Bushwick is the newest, trendiest place to live in Brooklyn. It’s not only one of the last affordable sections of Brooklyn. it has the feel of the lower east side of Manhattan, but without the expense of Manhattan, but the culture of some of the most diverse sections of Queens. It’s where all the cool kids live, or so I was told. It’s also where the mix of young, queer, dog-loving, hippie-chic millennials, and professional working-class people who have transplanted from all across the world reside, set up pop-up shops, party close together on sidewalks, sit on curbs amid graffiti-laden steps talking to strangers and hosting photo shoots.

I like Bushwick. It’s lively, and fun, but also reminiscent of small pockets of old New York, where the scent of delicious ethnic food blends in with the naturalness of pot-smoking hipsters, vintage clothes and art, and beer gardens. It’s the dichotomy for me that opens my heart when I walk through that neighborhood. And that led me to think of you—yes, you, my incredible and awesome Village, the folks I write for each and every week. How may we bridge the small feeling of home with the bigness of an expensive city without getting washed up in it?

Is there space for us to coexist in awe and inspiration, without becoming jaded by the darkness that encircles us? How’s the beat of the city feel to you lately? Is it time for a reset, a break, or a rekindling of the places and spaces you once loved and overlooked? Drop me a line and let me know. I’m in the same place–lifecoachasha@gmail.com.
