There is a saying that sometimes the most transformative seasons are the quiet ones, when we step back, recalibrate, and let God lead. As I return to the blog after some time away, I realize just how much has shifted in my world.
To be honest, I have been doing way too much.
I set a goal to impact hundreds, maybe even thousands of people globally with authenticity, consistency, and purpose. But somewhere along the way, I realized that constantly pouring out without slowing down can quietly pull us away from the very rest and alignment we need to sustain the vision.
This season has required me to make difficult but necessary adjustments. I have had to reevaluate relationships, create healthier boundaries, and release dynamics that no longer felt aligned. From navigating entitled family relationships to adjusting to caregiving responsibilities and expanding the support I receive in my business, life has been stretching me in new ways.
At the same time, I have also been learning how to grow as a leader without building unhealthy dependence on work or the people around me. Mentoring junior colleagues while they find their own rhythm has been rewarding, but it has also reminded me that leadership should not cost us our joy, our softness, or our humanity.
So I have been returning to rest.
Returning to pleasure.
Returning to fun.
Not as an escape, but as a form of healing and obedience.
More than anything, I have been allowing God to define my life on His terms instead of my own expectations. That process has sharpened me deeply. It has humbled me, stretched me, and also blessed me with abundance in ways I am still processing.
I have watched God multiply seeds in both my business and personal life, and I know there is still more unfolding that I will share in time.
One thing I continue learning is this: growth is not always loud. Sometimes the most meaningful transformations happen quietly, behind the scenes, while we are simply trying to stay faithful to the process.
So Village, I would love to hear from you.
For my OG readers who have been here through the years, and for the newer faces who joined along the way, what has life been serving up for you lately?
Has this season stretched you? Softened you? Redirected you? Surprised you?
Drop me a line at lifecoachasha@gmail.com or stay connected through the blog and let me know. We are all navigating something, and I truly believe we are not meant to do it alone.
And if there is any way I can support you in this current season of your life, I would love to know that too.
Until then Village,
Asha…

If you are called to receive support, guidance, or faith-centered counsel, reach out to me here! I want to hear from you.
