For many of us, the word visibility brings to mind social media. Posting. Promoting. Growing an audience. Making sure people know what we do.
And while those things can be part of visibility, there is a deeper question worth considering:
What does it mean to make what has been placed inside of you visible to others?
Your gifts, experience, perspective, creativity, knowledge, and story all have the potential to serve someone beyond yourself.
Sometimes, the challenge is not that you lack something valuable to offer.
It may simply be that you have not created enough space for people to encounter it.
⭐ Your gifts deserve room to be recognized.
⭐ Your experience may be the perspective someone else needs.
⭐ Your story may create connection in ways you cannot yet see.
Visibility does not have to mean turning everything into a sales pitch. It does not require constantly proving yourself.
It can be an opportunity to thoughtfully share what you know, what you are learning, what you have experienced, and how you can contribute.
There are many ways this can happen. It could be through a stretch project you are working on, a conversation you choose to contribute to, or even sharing an update about something you are learning on LinkedIn.
The question is not necessarily, Where should I be visible?
It may be, Where am I already showing up, and how could I allow more of my gifts to be seen there?

Visibility does not require having something extraordinary to say every time you show up.
Sometimes, it means consistently bringing something meaningful to the spaces where you already have influence.
It can look like sharing a lesson you have learned; celebrating an experience that shaped you; or thoughtfully engaging with someone else’s work.
It can be easy to question whether what you have to say matters or whether anyone will pay attention.
But hiding a gift does not make it more valuable.
It simply makes it harder for the people who may benefit from it to find it.
Visibility requires intention.
It means being thoughtful about where you show up and what you want people to experience when they encounter you.
Action Step
Pause for a moment and consider:
Where is one place you could show up more intentionally, allowing your gifts, experience, or perspective to become more visible?
Then take one small step toward being seen.
Because visibility is not about chasing attention.
It is about creating opportunities for connection, contribution, and impact.
